Quizlet Introduction Quizlet is a study tool for students and teachers.  Created by Andrew Sutherland in 2005, Quizlet was designed with the sole purpose of providing a location for students to share information with one another.  Quizlets missions is defined as, Our mission is simple: To help students (and their teachers) practice and master whatever they are learning. Quizlet provides engaging, customizable activities with contributions from people everywhere.

Description Quizlet is a completely free program to use. Quizlet is an amazing learning tool for students and teachers. Quizlet works by allowing material to be published to the web. The material is automatically placed into relevant categories so that it is shared with everyone that inquires. Quizlet is used as a study tool. Information is posted in the form of flashcard. This allows the learner to attempt to figure out the answer to the question before clicking to flip the flashcard. Quizlet also allows the learner to take quizzes to help with the studying process. Quizlet is learner friendly and can be accessed on mobile devices as well as computers. The intended audience for quizlet is everyone that attends any sort of school. The content is not specific to certain subjects so it doesn't limit who can benefit from the content. Quizlet was developed about 10 years ago. Review of the design Quizlet follows good design principles as it is learner friendly.The website is not busy or distracting.  Quizlet offers site explanation. Quizlet also provides tutorials to use their features. There are no obvious limitations to using this site. Quizlet supports Universal Design, accessibility, and Universal design for learning.  Quizlet does limit how many times you can upload into a single set. The number is extremely high, 2,000 to be exactly. But one can only hope they do not have to upload that many at once. Discuss the educational value Quizlet can be used for learning because it provides studying tools. Quizlet also provides assessment opportunities. From using this app one can learn many things that are posted by others. Ranging from tutorials, to educational material, to many other things. For example, a student in nursing school can greatly benefit from this because the student can upload their information onto flashcards and share the link with other students. It's very likely that the information will already be on quizlet. This allows the student to student alone but also in groups with other students studying the same exact material. With that being said Quizlet can be referred to as communities of practice. Quizlet compared to other M Learning technologies I am familiar with quizlet is hands down easily accessible and user friendly. The website is not to bust distracting the user from the goal at hand.

Conclusion In conclusion, Quizlet can be used by various types of people for various reasons. Quizlet has the ability to appeal to all sorts of learners. I have benefited greatly from quizlet in past years because I was able to create the study content needed and also quiz myself after. That allowed me to prepare more for the upcoming exams.
